This afternoon I popped into my local Boots as I heard they sold FOAMIE, which is a solid zero waste soap bar. Which I have heard many people rave about. They do a few different ones, one for damaged hair, one for sensitive skin and one for dry hair.
Unfortunately when I asked if they had any on the shelf, I was told they were only stocking them in the larger Boots stores.
I felt a little bit disappointed, as it’s hard to go waste free when stores remove products from the shelfs due to it being a smaller stores . BUT all was not lost!
The sales assistant mentioned that a few went into the reduced section, because of being discontinued in the store. What a bargain they were reduced to £3 each From £6.99!! Now I have nearly finished my plastic bottle of shampoo and conditioner so I will be ready to start my journey and see which FOAMIE shampoo bar works for me. I am really looking forward to trying these.
